Le Boeing CH-47 Chinook est un hélicoptère à double rotor en tandem, développé par Vertol et produit par Boeing Defense. Hélicoptère de transport lourd, il est le deuxième appareil occidental le plus puissant après le CH-53. Son nom est emprunté au peuple amérindien Chinook de l'Oregon et de Washington.
